I’ve spent the day in my pyjamas today, after suffering a sudden and completely unpleasant bout of a sickness bug last night. I recently moved Crucio over to sit under and umbrella domain that Amanda convinced me to buy: Never-Land.org, which is hosted by the very lovely Lysanthius. My hope is to return to the lost art of personal blogging, but I know I’ve said that many times before.
I’m going to try embarking on a weight loss journey (again…) from tomorrow. Nothing official, I have a couple of little Slimming World books that I’m going to follow and adapt. So my goal is to post about my journey regularly here. Not very magical, I admit, but hopefully motivating. Wish me luck!
Summer came and went. There were friends, holidays, seaside views and airshows.
Now the boy is 5. I still haven’t written a proper blog post. Crucio.net is 8.5 years old and there is nothing to show for it. I’m not convinced there ever will be.

There’s something about tree blossom that makes me inexplicably happy.

We recently returned from a little family holiday in the snowy peaks of Switzerland. The week began rather stressfully when my little boy was poorly but ended with snowball fights and skiing. We even managed to come home to a little bit of sunshine in the UK – just in time for Easter.
I hope everyone is having an enjoyable Easter holiday weekend?
Hello world… again. I found an old theme by the amazing Kassy and began to feel nostalgic for the old days of blogging and building websites for fun, that is to say without the goal of becoming a famous influencer or making money. I miss the days when we’d update just because we felt like it, with no airs or graces and no concern for how many page views we’d receive.
So hello Crucio. My virtual mind dump whilst I try my hand at ‘proper’ blogging elsewhere. It’ll be nice to come back here when I just want to remember the good old days.
